Glossary
In short
What Quicktalog means by the words it uses.
Words you will meet
Some of these are ordinary words that mean something particular in Quicktalog. Where a word is underlined with dots elsewhere in this manual, hovering it shows the same explanation.
AI credits
What a Quick AI request spends. How many you get every 30 days depends on your plan.
builder
The screen where you edit a catalogue: its sections, its items and its design.
catalogue
One page you share with your customers: your sections and items, under your own link.
custom visual
A section you design yourself in HTML and CSS, for anything the other section types do not cover.
dashboard
Your home once you are signed in: every catalogue you own, how it is doing and what it is allowed.
divider
A section that draws a line or leaves a gap, to separate the sections around it.
draft
Your unsaved or unpublished work on a catalogue. Only you can see it until you publish.
external content
A section that shows a page from another site, such as a map or a booking form.

One card in an items section: a dish, a product or a service, with its own name, photo and price.
layout
How the cards in an items section are arranged: Side Image, Top Image, Text Only or Carousel.
page view
One opening of a published catalogue. Your plan allows a set number of them every 30 days.
plan
What you pay for, and the limits that come with it: catalogues, page views and AI credits.
preview
Your saved draft shown exactly as the published page will look, before anyone else can see it.
publish
Put a catalogue online, so that anyone with its link can open it.
QR code
A square code that opens your catalogue when a phone camera points at it. Print it on a table or a window.
Quick AI
The assistant in the builder. Describe what you want and it drafts or changes the catalogue for you.
section
One band down a catalogue page. Each one is items, text, a divider, external content or a custom visual.
theme
The colours, fonts and background that give a catalogue its look.
traffic limit
The page views your plan allows every 30 days, across all your catalogues together. It resets 30 days after you signed up, and every 30 days after that.
unique visitor
One person who opened your catalogue, counted once however many times they opened it.
